TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Introduction

We aim to offer something many e-tailers fail to offer – excellent prices and a decent service. We promise to keep you informed by both email and phone throughout the ordering and dispatch process. And if there are any problems, we aim to respond to your problem within 2 hours but guarantee to answer within 1 working day. We pride ourselves on our quality of service. We believe that the best form of marketing is through word of mouth and that those companies who succeed do so as a result of listening to their customers. Whilst we always aim to achieve a superb standard in customer care, we also believe in setting out customer’s expectations. For those new to buying goods on the web, there are areas unique to e-tailing which can cause problem - payment and delivery:

These general conditions of sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express, written prior dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you unreservedly accept our general conditions of sale, having read them. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to you and Smartwheels as they have been designed to protect your rights as a valued customer and to protect our rights as a business and to create an understanding between us.

Specifications

Where specifications are to be supplied the buyer shall supply such specifications in reasonable time to enable the seller to complete delivery within the period named. Any advice given verbally by IMG Global Ltd staff will not form part of any contract between us and the customer.

All goods are sold delivered at the price ruling at the date of despatch. Prices are quoted inclusive of VAT, subject to country of destination.

Prices

The prices indicated on the Site are in Pounds Sterling and include all taxes and delivery. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but will apply the current rates as indicated to you on the site at the time the order was placed.

 

Payment Terms

A credit card charge of 2.5% will be applied for Visa and Master credit cards; there is no charge for Switch, Solo or Delta cards. All transactions are processed in GBP Sterling, if you purchase in another currency it will be converted into GBP Sterling. Due to the nature of currency rate fluctuations and fees which credit card companies charge the finial billed amount may differ by as much as 4%. By purchasing from us you are accepting these conditions. If you are in any doubt please contact us.

 

Availability

Please note that we will honour your order while stock is available.

In the event where one of the products ordered is not in stock, we will contact you in less than 15 days as of your order date to inform you how long it will be before we are able to deliver the product.

If there are certain products that are temporarily unavailable, we will send the available products and will pay the shipping fees for the rest of the order. We will offer you a replacement for an unavailable product, a product of equal price and quality.
If you choose to refuse, we will reimburse the unavailable product. If you wish to return it to us in the conditions outlined in article 9 (right of retraction – satisfied or reimbursed), the fees will be covered by us.

Secure payment

Smartwheels.biz uses Secure Trading to guarantee the security of your payments.

Smartwheels has chosen to assure payment security with Secure Trading by encrypting the connection when transmitting information on the network.
When you see the payment sign you will know that your payment is secure. Smartwheels offers 4 methods of payment: Credit card (Debit card, Visa or MasterCard), bank transfer, finance option through V12 Finance and PayPal.

When you pay by credit card, your account will be debited when your order is forwarded, on condition that we have received pre-authorisation for your account. If sufficient funds are not available, your order will not be taken into account. For payments made on-line by credit card, the “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) system of security is used, which allows for encrypting your banking information when on the network. Bank transfer payment: Your payment will be processed when your bank transfer is received. Once your payment is received we will dispatch your goods. The processing of off-line payments may take several days.

Right of Retraction - Satisfied or your money back

Smartwheels.biz allows you 7 working days to return a product that you are not satisfied with. You can return the product within this time period, at your own expense, accompanied by your invoice and a completed returns good form requested from us.
We request that you send us the merchandise by registered post and that you purchase insurance with the carrier for the value of the merchandise. This is notably necessary should they lose or damage the goods. Shipping fees remain the customer’s responsibility.

The present right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original, complete working condition (packaging, accessories, information etc.). Any product that has been damaged, or is not in its original packaging, or has packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product, will not be refunded.

 

Important Fitting Information - Alloy Wheel Installation Check List

By purchasing alloy wheels and or tyres from Smartwheels.biz you are fully responsible for the fitting and installation of these alloy wheels and or tyres correctly. Smartwheels.biz / IMG Global Ltd. does not take any responsibility for incorrectly fitted alloy wheels or tyres, and as such are not liable for any claims.

We highly recommend that in order to ensure the safe use of your alloy wheels and tyres that you follow our Alloy Wheel Installation Check List Below:

If For Any Reason You Are Unsure Please Contact Us.

Before fitting tyres on all aftermarket wheels you MUST check:

• The stud/bolt hole pattern is correct.
• That the alloy wheel fits freely on to the hub without interference, and that there are no screws, rivets or retaining clips which may interfere with a firm flat location of the hub against the wheel mounting face.
• That the alloy wheel rotates freely and truly on both front and rear hubs.
• When fastened to the hub, that no part of the wheel can make contact with the brake drums or callipers; or any other part of the steering or suspension.
• Check Nuts/Bolts: Correct fitting is vital BE SURE:
• That the thread form is correct (fits nuts without alloy wheels).
• That the nut/bolt location seating is correct.
• That the stud length is adequate for minimum thread penetration of approximately 1 x stud diameter and not too long as to permit bottoming of the stud in the nut or that the thread penetration of the bolt protrudes through the hub housing to cause damage to internal brake or hub components.
• That the threads are rust free, and not over lubricated
• When sleeve nuts are used, that the shank diameter is correct and that the bearing washers are always used.
When Fitting the Tyre Make Sure:
• That the alloy wheel rim size is compatible with tyre size.
• Be Wary of scratching the protective lacquer coating. (On aluminium wheels and some chrome wheels) Aluminium corrodes very easily once exposed to atmosphere, water, road salt or corrosive acid based alloy wheel cleaners and chemicals.
• Where possible always use the adhesive type of balance weight, as these help to avoid scratching of the alloy wheel finish.

 

Finally Check:

• That the alloy wheel and tyre assembly does not contact any part of the suspension, body work or internal hub components (brakes, sensors etc) by carrying out full bump and lock to lock tests as well as a full visual inspection of the back / hub section of the alloy wheel fixing assembly before driving away from the fitting bay.
Do not take risks - Wheel Security is vital check with us if you have any doubts.
We would also recommend that after a period of around 20miles that you check your wheels to ensure security as some alloy wheels may need time to bed in correctly.

 

Law Applicable

These conditions and the contract shall be subject to and construed in accordance with UK Law.
